Holyoke Community College (HCC) seeks confidential applications and nominations for its inaugural Vice President of People, Culture, and Equity. Located in Holyoke, Massachusetts, HCC began in 1946 as the city-sponsored Holyoke Junior College. In fiscal year 2023, HCC enrolled 4,745 credit students and 2, 056 non-credit students. The Vice President of People, Culture, and Equity (VPPCE) will promote collaboration and communication across the college, uniting faculty and staff to advance HCC's culture strategically, and EDI supports for our students and community. This executive-level VPPCE will promote a college-wide climate consistent with HCC's values. Serving as a strategic partner and reporting to the President of the College, the VPPCE works in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and all College constituencies to strategically advance culture, equity, diversity, and inclusion as an interconnected part of HCC's commitment to transformative justice. Some of the required qualifications include:
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and multiculturalism.
- Entrepreneurial mindset or experience creating a department/division from the ground up.
- Subject matter expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion practices, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-ethnic/ multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating policies, processes, and practices from an equity lens.
- In-depth understanding of state, federal, and organizational standards, compliance and guidelines, and the ability to operate within these regulations.
- A Master’s degree is required. A Ph.D. or terminal degree is preferred.

PROVOST AND VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS

Metropolitan Community College (MCC) is searching for an innovative, strategic thinker and resource builder who possesses the necessary leadership background and political savvy to become the President of the Penn Valley Campus at Metropolitan Community College.
In collaboration with the Chancellor, the new President will have the opportunity to lead a fresh and eager staff toward positive change, championing initiatives that build the student experience and institutional advancement, as well as community relations and workforce training collaborations. As President, the incumbent provides leadership for the MCC-Penn Valley team. Student success is a primary focus and responsibility of the district, and the President will lead this effort on the Penn Valley Campus, as well as nurture internal and external relationships, fundraising, and public and private partnerships within the Penn Valley service area.
