The Facilities Services Director is a university leader working under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Business Operations, Mr. Chris Xanthos.
The Facilities Services Department is a 24-hour and 365-days per year operation and consists of a leadership team of 14 and a total team of 200. Subunits within the department include Budget and Procurement, Campus Sustainability, Custodial Services, Operations and Contracts, Facilities and Project Services, Landscape Services, Housing Facilities Services, and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Services.
San Diego State University is seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader with extensive facilities services management experience in a collective bargaining environment. The ideal candidate will engage in business operations and possess strong analytical and communication skills to work collaboratively and effectively across the campus community. This position leads and manages six direct reports, with the opportunity to hire for two positions.
