The Founding Dean of the School of Sciences, Mathematics and Education is the chief academic officer for the school, responsible for strategy and operations to ensure the strongest possible learning outcomes for students.  Reporting directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs & Enrollment Management, the dean will focus on enrollment management, long-term faculty development, and cultivating external relationships, while providing oversight of administrative staff, department chairs, budgets, schedules, curriculum, programs, and accreditations, among other areas.
